4-H Canada will support and empower a team of Youth Service Leaders, who will co-create community-focused service projects in partnership with other youth as part of a cross-Canada youth exchange program, showcasing Canada’s diverse heritage, regional landscapes and a shared commitment to youth leadership and community engagement.
4Rs Youth Movement
The 4Rs Youth Movement will build capacity to take action on reconciliation in ways that are relevant to young people, reimagining the process of reconciliation through the lens of authentic relationship building, critical dialogue and collaborative leadership.
Apathy is Boring
Apathy is Boring will bring youth together to co-create and lead innovative community projects that strengthen civic life in Canada. Through skills building and creative outreach, this national youth-led movement will inspire and support its peers to become active members in our democracy.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada
Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada will harness the diversity and expertise of youth to make a difference for local communities through intentional youth programming and supporting adult allies who help youth develop a passion for service – locally, regionally, and beyond - all while building Canada’s next generation of leaders.
Canadian Roots Exchange
Canadian Roots Exchange will build bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people in Canada by facilitating dialogue and strengthening relationships through its leadership programs. CRE is unique in Canada for being Indigenous led, youth led, and having reconciliation as an explicit mandate.
Canadian Wildlife Federation
The Canadian Wildlife Federation will be engaging young Canadians in expeditionary and service learning experiences as part of the Canadian Conservation Corps. Through the three-part program, participants will join in a thrilling wilderness expedition, take part in a service learning placement and create meaningful change in their home community by inspiring their peers to improve their environment through service projects.
Chantiers jeunesse
Chantiers jeunesse promotes, through volunteering, the development of young active and engaged citizens while contributing to the improvement of living environments. The volunteer camps are projects initiated by the communities willing to have an intercultural group of volunteers join them for 2-3 weeks. We also support young social entrepreneurs to help them design and carry out projects, services, and events in their community.
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award
The Duke of Edinburgh`s International Award will bring together young Canadians from across the country to learn the value of putting their passion into practice by giving back to their local communities, with mentorship and support from networks of alumni all along the way.
Katimavik
Katimavik is a non-profit organization that develops and empowers diverse youth as capable contributors, compassionate citizens and leaders for a better Canada. The program fosters understanding, respect and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and with Canada’s other diverse cultures, regions and the environment.
mindyourmind
mindyourmind is working with young Canadians across the country to engage in Design Labs, where we will co-develop and co-create new resources that address the unique mental health needs of those diverse communities.
Ocean Wise
OceanWise will assemble youth with a passion for our oceans, allowing them to travel to remote locations to help improve the health of our coastlines, build leadership skills by teaching young people about the issues and lead their own environmental projects back in their home communities.
TakingITGlobal
#RisingYouth is a program led by TakingITGlobal to help youth build Canada and develop life skills by giving back to their communities. Created for youth by youth, we are building a program to increase involvement through community service. The program is currently funded to offer grants through March 2021.
YMCA
Youth gathering together in groups from all across the country! YMCA will bring together groups of young Canadians from all backgrounds to team up, develop and deliver projects that respond to issues and needs in their local communities.
